We are currently in the beta testing stage of RadioEMiNA, Malaysia’s first anime-styled radio channel. There are some minor technical speedbumps yet to be overcome and until that time, we’ll be sporadically doing our broadcasts.

The shows will be aired LIVE on late nights between 10.00 pm and 01.00 am and we will let you know when the show is about to air via our Twitter account so do follow us @eminacyber and join in the fun with #radioemina!

Various functionalities are in the works (chatroom, call-in, song requests etc.) so keep an eye out for those, too!

Calling all our members, non-members and friends!

EMiNA will be having its Annual General Meeting on Monday, 27th July 2009 at FOM XR 0001 starting from 8.00pm onwards. It’s going to be an extremely boring AGM where we will discuss our past activities and upcoming projects. EMiNA members who registered during the registration week can also claim their membership card during the meeting.

While the meeting is open to non-members as well, you are hereby warned that this meeting will be extremely odd and unlike most normal AGM’s held by other clubs. Discretion is advised. Strange chemistry happens when numerous weird people gather in the same room.

Venue: FOM XR 0001
Time: 8pm onwards

Ice-breaking entertainment will include unfunny otaku jokes, 4chan memes and nonsensical mini-games that include passing around a silly-looking object between attendees, accompanied by terrible music.

Just a quick notice for those who signed up for EMiNA’s Bon Odori trip. The fee is set at RM20, and we’ll all be going in cars! That means we’ll have all the freedom to move around town, go lunch, shopping and dance at Bon Odori

Please rendezvous with us in front of the STAD building on Saturday, July 18 2009 at 12pm. We’ll be confirming everyone’s attendance and accept the fee payments then.

PS:
Even if you’re not riding with us to Bon Odori, feel free come and chill with us at EMiNA’s Bon Odori picnic spot! We’ll set up our bunting there so you can find easily us That way you can have a safe place to rest your bags in case you don’t want to carry everything around everywhere.

This is where we usually type in some clever text and cheesy catchphrase to attract freshies to come to our booth and sign up. Due to the horrifying lack of ideas, we just decided to be honest and tell you that we want you to join us because it’s the most awsm thing that’s ever happened to MMU.
